Եկեղեցու դեմ Արցախի կործանողի հետ միավորվելով՝ դուք ուղղակիորեն խախտում եք Եկեղեցու յուրաքանչյուր իրավական և բարոյական օրենք։
Դուք ընտրել եք կանգնել այն մարդու կողքին, ով հայտարարեց Արցախը Ադրբեջանի մաս։ Այդպիսով դուք ձեր աջակցությունն ու ընդունումն եք տվել Արցախի հարյուրավոր հայկական եկեղեցիների և վանքերի հանձնմանը։
Դուք ընտրել եք կանգնել այն մարդու կողքին, ով խոստովանել է, որ 2020 թվականի պատերազմը հնարավոր էր կանխել, սակայն ընտրեց պատերազմը, որպեսզի իրեն դավաճան չկոչեն։ Այդպիսով դուք աջակցություն եք հայտնել մի ամբողջ սերնդի զոհաբերմանը՝ հանուն այն մարդու քաղաքական երկարատևության, ով 2008 թվականին Արցախի ժողովրդին անվանել էր «ղարաբաղցի տականք»։
Դուք ընտրել եք կանգնել այն մարդու կողքին, ով դավադրաբար պատրաստվում է զիջել Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը՝ հանուն մի անհասկանալի «խաղաղության», որը չի պարունակում ոչ մի երաշխիք և ոչ մի հստակ ու համաձայնեցված օգուտ Հայաստանի համար։ Այդպիսով դուք՝ Փաշինյանի հետ միասին, աջակցություն եք հայտնում Ադրբեջանին, Թուրքիային և ԱՄՆ-ին՝ ընդդեմ Հայաստանի շահերի։
Սրբազան Հայր, ձեր ստորագրությամբ այս փաստաթղթի տակ դուք անցել եք անդառնալիության սահմանը։ Ամոթ ձեզ՝ Սուրբ Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցին և ամբողջ ազգը դավաճանելու համար։
Ներկայումս, ձեր հակաեկեղեցական և հակահայկական գործողությունների արդյունքում, Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու Արևմտյան Թեմը գտնվում է օկուպացիայի տակ։
Եկեղեցու ազատագրումը և նրա վերադարձը Քրիստոսի ընտանիք կախված է ձեր ապաշխարությունից և ընթացքի ուղղումից։ Անձամբ ես, քանի դեռ դուք կարգալույծ չեք եղել, կշարունակեմ ձեզ ճանաչել որպես Թեմի առաջնորդ, սակայն պահանջում եմ ձեր հրաժարականը՝ որպես առաջին քայլ՝ Թեմը մաքրելու այն բծից, որը դուք բերել եք նրա վրա։

OPEN LETTER
Archbishop Hovnan Derderian of the Western USA Diocese:
Perhaps you have mistaken the people’s relative silence with acceptance and tolerance.
By joining the efforts of the one who destroyed Artsakh against the Church, you are directly violating every legal and moral law of the Church.
You have chosen to side with the man who declared Artsakh as a part of Azerbaijan. By doing so you have given your support to and acceptance of the surrender of several hundred Armenian churches and monasteries in Artsakh.
You have chosen to side with the man who has confessed that the 2020 war could have been prevented but chose to go to war so he wouldn’t be called a traitor. By doing so you have given your support to sacrificing an entire generation of youth for the political longevity of the man who in 2008 declared the people of Artsakh “Karbaghtsi scum.”
You have chosen to side with the man who is conspiring to relinquish the sovereignty of Armenia in exchange for a mysterious peace that includes no guarantees and no agreed upon and clear benefits for Armenia. By doing so you join Pashinyan in giving his support to Azerbaijan, Turkey and USA, against the interests of Armenia.
Archbishop, with your signature on this document you have crossed the point of no return. Shame on you for betraying the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church and your nation as a whole.
As it stands, as a result of your anti-church and anti-Armenian actions, the Western Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of North America is under occupation.
The liberation of the Church and it’s return to the family of Christ is contingent to your repentance and course correction. Personally, so long as you have not been defrocked, I will continue to acknowledge you as the Diocese Archbishop, however I demand your resignation – as the first step of cleansing the Diocese from the stain you have brought upon.
