Լինդսի Սնելը, որը պարբերաբար լուսաբանում է Մերձավոր Արևելքի և Հարավային Կովկասի հակամարտությունները, քննադատել է օտարերկրյա դիվանագետների և միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչների այցերը Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ։
«Ստացվում է, որ տասնյակ օտարերկրյա դիվանագետներ համաձայնել են այցելել հայկական եկեղեցիներ, որոնք Ադրբեջանը ներկայացնում է որպես «աղվանական»՝ այն պայմաններում, երբ Բաքուն շարունակում է փորձերը ջնջելու հայկական մշակութային ժառանգության հետքերը։ Բավական մռայլ պատկեր է»,- գրել է նա X-ում՝ մեկնաբանելով պատվիրակության այցը օկուպացված Արցախ։

Hikmet Hajiyev brought diplomats to an Armenian monastery he called “Albanian,” then showed a blank volume as “proof” that Armenian history is falsified. The diplomats looked on and giggled.
